Interview with IndyJones
In this interview, Red Phoenix interviews
IndyJones.
Red Phoenix:
Where did your first hear about Hasbro's Rollercoaster Tycoon? And
what did you think of it once you played it?
IndyJones: At a local computer
game store I saw it and since I like coasters I thought it would
be fun. It was great. Though, a little hard at first, like making
coaster, I didn't know to bank turns and about speeds in inversions.
Red Phoenix:
What's your opinion of RollerCoaster Tycoon 2?
IndyJones: It's an awesome
game. Some people don't like it but I think it is great.
Red Phoenix:
What do you think of the plugins system (importing scenery) RollerCoaster
Tycoon 2?
IndyJones: Being able to import
scenery is awesome. It adds a lot more to the game.
Red Phoenix:
It looks like an RCT 2 expansion pack will be released in May 2003.
What would you like to see specifically in the game?
IndyJones: More flat rides,
themes, a nighttime mode, and fireworks/parades.
Red Phoenix:
What sort of RCT/RCT 2 utility would you like to see developed that
isn't already available?
IndyJones: No comment.
Red Phoenix:
You're known on the RCT Station Forums for your park development.
What's the most difficult piece of scenery to make?
IndyJones: Pronably my first,
Animal Domain. Only because it was my first park and pretty large.
Luckly, Mama Bear came and helped with my theming and also helped
greatly in make my first park making experience fun and exciting.
Red Phoenix:
What do you think of the RCT community right now?
IndyJones: Pretty big, seems
as if there was an out break when RCT2 came out. And there are a
lot of parks in progress which is always fun to have happen.
Red Phoenix:
What would you ask Chris Sawyer if you had the opportunity?
IndyJones: Why didn't you add
more flats in RCT2?
Red Phoenix:
What's your favorite real coaster recreation that was made by someone
in the community?
IndyJones: Vortex @ PKI by
Steve Franks. It was great to see a coaster from my home park and
it was very well done.
Red Phoenix:
What's your favorite real park recreation that was made by someone
in the community?
IndyJones: PKI
by Supertrooper. It was again great to see my home park, and done
with such accuracy, it was awesome.
Red Phoenix:
If you could be someone (alive or dead) for one day, who would it
be, and why?
IndyJones: Lincoln, because
of the major impacts he made for the US
