Frequently Asked
Questions
Welcome to the RCT Station Frequently
Asked Questions section. Over the course of time, we've been
asked a ton of questions. Some seem to come up far more often
than others. This section is our collection of Frequently
Asked Questions. The contributors of this section is far too
many to list. The entire RCT community had a hand in this.

How can I improve the
park rating |
|
Your park rating is decided
in the main by your guests. Find out what they are thinking
and depending upon this and the amount of money you
have:
Build shops if they are hungry and/or thirsty
Build toilets if they need to "go"
Build information kiosks if they are lost
Lower ride and/or shop prices for any attractions
that they won't pay for
Place more seats if they're tired
Hire extra handymen and assign them to patrol in
areas of the park where there is lots of litter or
the path is "disgusting"
Place litter bins where there is lots of litter
Add gardens, water features, walls, lights and
other scenery.

How can I quickly find
out which of the park facilities are making/losing money
|
|
You don't have to check
every ride/shop/stall individually. One of the most
useful windows in the game (which is not described well
in the manuals) is the one you open by clicking on the
Rides Info button at the top of the screen. From this
window you can sort your rides/shops and stalls by various
criteria including profit. |

I want to increase
park value but I don't have any room left to build anything.
What can I do |
|
Choose of your older rides
and demolish it. It will be worth far less than you
paid for it. Build another ride or ride in its place
that cost more to build than the amount you got for
selling the old one.
Alternatively you can add more scenery and theming,
but park value will not increase so rapidly. |
