Beachfront Amusement Park |
Description:
In this park you will find plenty of surprises. The
Ogre's favorite part is the side friction ride. Normally
people forget about building this kind of ride. Mike Robbins
has proven his ability to build such a ride that is very complex
and cool to look at. Also you will find a very cool wooden
coaster near the front of the park that has many twists and
turns. In fact this whole saved game is one hell of an
example of his work!

Busch Gardens San Diego |
Description:
Busch Gardens San Diego seems to be a different style of
park than what Mike Robbins usually does. Though the main
reason it is so, is because the paths are much wider than normal,
but they are peep friendly. But this is what gives the
park its unique look. In fact Ogre is pretty impressed
with it. There is an abundance of thrilling attractions
and rides for all ages. By far Ogre's favorite ride is
the Arrow corkscrew coaster named Gold Rusher. It is a
very good theme and is fun to watch. Alas, Ogre would
say that all the coasters are great. Again, this is just
another great park by Mike!

Busch Gardens Williamsburg Recreation 2001-2002 |
|
Description:
All of Mike's parks are impressive, but this one is the
best yet in Ogre's opinion. In real-life, Busch Gardens
Williamsburg is a very beautiful park and Mike was able to
capture this in his recreation. As far as park recreations
go, this one is spot on. Every little detail has been
put into it. In fact, it is so accurate that it has to be
split into two seperate maps, not an easy task! You
would think this wouldn't work out, but it does. Both
maps compliment each other very well. Again, this is
in Ogre's opinion possibly the best park Mike has ever done.

Castle Kingdom |
Description:
This is only Mike's second major park made with the Loopy
Landscapes expansion pack. As with his previous work,
Mike has shown off his skills with landscaping, which is awesome.
You will find some great rides as well in this medieval park.
My favorite would have to be the CCI woodie, Lumberjack.
There are some great steel coasters in the park as well, which
all have some wonderful top speeds. A great park just
wouldn't be great without the other gentle/thrill rides, and
landscaped them very well.

Chesapeake Bay Beach Amusement Park |
Description:
It seems that there are always cool new creative ideas coming
from the workshop of Mike Robbins, with the latest being Chesapeake
Bay Beach Amusement Park. So what makes this park cool? Well
for starters it is a series of parks. Ogre thinks he might have
seen this done before, but not the extent for which Mike has
done. There is actually a story behind it, believe it or not!
Without going into too much detail, Ogre will try and give a
summary of this story. The basic idea is that the park was originally
opened by the Robbins family in the early 1900's and over the
years it has had several ups and downs. This series of maps
covers the entire lifespan of the park from 1942 to 2002. It
is amazing to Ogre the amount of small details put into these
parks. There are changes to be found on every map. In fact some
coasters have been torn down or added at different times in
the park's history. Probably Ogre's favorite rides are the Silver
Ghost and Hurricane, two wooden twister coasters, because they
pack quite a punch for their riders and look totally awesome!
Again, this park series is just another great Mike Robbins project.
